Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Warner serves as SWIIM’s Chairman of the board. His natural gas career culminated in the discovery of Jonah/Pinedale gas fields, third largest in US history. Dr. Warner holds an honorary faculty position at Colorado State University and has lectured on conservation issues from MIT to UCLA. He currently sits on the boards of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural history, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Sand County Foundation and the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies.
Chief Executive Officer and Board Member Mr. France serves as SWIIM’s Chief Executive Officer and board member. Under his leadership, SWIIM has been recognized as a top 25 ag tech company globally by Forbes Magazine for two consecutive years and he has grown the company’s operations and strategic partnerships with major agricultural stakeholders. Mr. France has been involved in agricultural development ventures including water rights, land and natural resources. He has also assisted companies at a senior level in organization, management, strategy and capital development activities in the food service, broadcast, agriculture and technology sectors. As a recognized leader in the ag-tech industry, Mr. France retains significant experience related to agricultural-based ventures, specifically with regard to water rights policy throughout the western US.
Chief Scientist and Board Member Mr. Stollar serves as SWIIM’s Chief Scientist and board member. He has served as a consultant providing project management and technical assistance on projects related to groundwater resources, financial allocation of responsibility for remediation, contaminant hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, monitoring, aquifer remediation and the environmental impact of hazardous materials for a wide range of clients throughout the United States.
Board Member Mr. Kennedy serves as a board member and adviser for SWIIM. He currently serves as Western Growers Association’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of all of the Western Growers entities. Mr. Kennedy joined Western Growers in 2003 and is responsible for the financial operations of the company, including accounting, reporting and treasury.
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary to the Board Mr. Cohen serves as SWIIM’s CFO, Treasurer and Secretary to the board. He has been a financial consultant for several real estate, water rights and natural resource development projects based throughout the western United States. Mr. Cohen possesses an extensive background in business administration and corporate finance.
Advisory Board Member Mr. Puglia serves as an advisory board member for SWIIM. Prior to this, Mr. Puglia served on SWIIM’s board of directors until being named incoming CEO of Western Growers. He currently serves as Western Growers Association’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Puglia joined Western Growers in 2005, leading the association’s state government affairs team and media communications staff on behalf of the association’s 2,500 members in California, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.
Senior Finance Adviser Mr. Beck serves as SWIIM’s senior finance adviser/outsourced CFO and closely assists SWIIM’s CFO regarding financing matters. Mr. Beck is a C-level executive and former CPA with over 30 years experience. He has served companies in a wide range of industries and has been a key contributor to the completion of more than 12 M&A transactions valued in excess of $350 million.
