Mr. Ferdon serves as Senior Business Development Manager for SWIIM. He leads business development activities in SWIIM regions. He joined the team with the goal of educating growers on the importance of comprehensive measurement and management of their water balance using the advanced methodology & instrumentation available from SWIIM. Mr. Ferdon’s background includes several years in instrumentation sales, specifically soil moisture monitoring and agronomic research equipment with a focus upon managing a variety of on-farm irrigation projects. His master’s thesis paper, completed in 2016, analyzes the economic efficiency of water transfer strategies within California agricultural water districts. Harry earned his Master of Science from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo’s Agribusiness Department. He is also a graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a combined Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics.
