SWIIM includes a comprehensive administration/management tool that verifies water use and related conservation against a specified baseline, along with the resulting newly-projected crop production output. If you need help with equipment install, we can do that for you. If you already have a distributor you work with, we can work with them instead.
We have our own team of deployment experts, and also partner with several common equipment providers, as well as retail distributors. If you already have automation or irrigation scheduling in the field, you may not require new equipment to take advantage of SWIIM’s water balance technology. It can connect seamlessly with already-installed equipment.
SWIIM is not an equipment manufacturer. Rather, SWIIM is “hardware and data agnostic” and is compatible with many commercially-available equipment options, including flow meters, gate meters, tail water sensors, climatic sensors, groundwater instrumentation and supporting infrastructure such as weirs, flumes, stilling wells, and similar technologies. This equipment is connected via telemetry to SWIIM to provide near-real-time water usage and consumption reports, along with “alarms” if a specific field is going outside the projected/approved water usage, alongside other pre-determined irregularities.
With our “ready connect” service, we provide SWIIM as a service on your already-installed flow measuring equipment. This requires no new equipment to enjoy SWIIM’s comprehensive service offering.
A partial list of our most common equipment and telemetry partners is shown here. If you have equipment and telemetry from one of these providers, you can likely already take advantage of SWIIM’s water balance reporting and analysis by simply purchasing a SWIIM service subscription.
Don’t see your equipment provider here? Contact our sales team and we will look into connecting with your current equipment provider of choice, at no charge to you.

SWIIM is used on permanent and annual crops and is compatible with surface delivered water, groundwater (pipe) or a combination of both sources on one, or multiple fields. It works with furrow, sprinkler, drip or a combination of irrigation methods within an operation. The system works alone or integrates with common irrigation scheduling systems.
Our easy to read, full color brochure is available detailing SWIIM’s full suite of offerings.
An easy-to-use interface designed for farmers, ranchers and other water right owners to optimize their farm income and water use. Co-developed under a multi-year research and development contract with the US Department of Agriculture, the system utilizes region-specific data, which is compared against real-life activities in the field.
An interface designed for water managers including ditch companies, irrigation districts, large-scale corporate growers and farming co-ops. The package is designed to allow for aggregation of a series of planned fields water budgets. This includes monitoring and reporting of actual applied and consumed water use within a region.
