SWIIM continues deployments through Southern California – the latest activity in Blythe and Imperial, helping grower understand, manage and protect their water allocations with a precision not previously available.  Here, the SWIIM team is checking calibration of a flow measurement device under water located in Palo Verde Irrigation District which sends data every 15 seconds to the cloud securely.  We check our sensors regularly to assure they are reporting accurately.  This flow data is them meshed with consumption data from weather stations located throughout the region, and satellite on a near-real-time basis.
Growers that care about their water use the SWIIM platform to turn “I think I am conserving” to “I know I am conserving, by “X” amount, with an irrigation efficiency of “Y.”
